3D.... bigger is better!!!

So after another tutorial i decided to take my distorted images further, i noticed that because i printed the images onto assetate that they where reflecting slightly with other images and pieces on my desk. I stumbled upon William Kentridge who played around with distorting images and using mirrors in his work. I was especially intrigued by his 'two heads' piece. In which he uses a mirrored steel cylinder, placed on a table with a charcole drawing. The drawings where distorted and the mirror reflected them normal. But, in my project i will be doing the opposite of this. Here is where you can find an image of this piece http://www.flickr.com/photos/art21onkacv/3863234671/ . Anyways inspired by this piece i decided to shape my originally flat images into cylindrical shapes. Then i made a box out of cardboard and tinfoil to place these reflective objects in, so that i could possibly find a way of controlling the light that entered therefor changing the reflections of the now 3d images. here are some images of inside the box :)
Now imagine this... what if i do these on a massive scale! Where the viewer could walk in and then become part of the reflections and distortions. Methinks an installation piece is in order :)
